Dear Parents,
The end of the first marking period is upon us. Report cards will be distributed to parents of students in K-8 on November 20 and 21. I will give honor cards to students after our Thanksgiving service on Nov. 22.
I would like to congratulate all of our eighth-graders who participated in the Roselle Catholic Scholastic Olympics. They are all model students. I would like to especially commend Michael Adubato (2nd Place- Forensics), Daniel Cruz (2nd Place- Religion) and Ryan Stull (1st Place – Science). Congratulations also to their teachers and parents.
In light of recent events, the safety of all the children and personnel in our building is a priority. Each and every person who enters Saint Michael School during hours when school is in session MUST come to the office to announce themselves. No one may pass through the lobby and go directly to a classroom without coming to the office first. This also includes parents bringing students who are late in coming to school. Please keep in mind that everyone’s safety is important.
Our Middle States visitation is scheduled for November 28-December 1. We will present our philosophy on November 28 in the school auditorium at 7:00 P.M. At that time the 4th, 5th and 6th graders will perform for parents and invited guests. I look forward to seeing you there to support Saint Michael's School.
Tuesday is Halloween! We will have our parade at 10:00 A.M. All parents are welcome to come as spectators. Wednesday is November 1st and we will go into our Winter Uniform mode. The weather is getting colder and at recess time we go to the schoolyard. The children must be dressed warmly with jackets. Please join us if you can at our 8:30 A.M. Mass for All Saint’s Day.
Sincerely yours,
Sandy Miragliotta
Principal
