Dear Parents,Catholic Schools Week calendar of events. This year’s theme, “CATHOLIC EDUCATION – THE GOOD NEWS IN EDUCATION”, represents the core values Catholic education strives to instill and support in every student. Our theme has been prominently displayed above our front doors. Below are activities planned for Catholic Schools Week 2007.

• Sunday, January 28 – 9:00 A.M. Mass – At Mass, students will be actively involved and will participate in a special presentation at the end of Mass. Students are requested to wear their school uniforms to church and then attend the Open House (10 A.M.- 1 P.M.) with their parents. The Open House will feature tours of the building and teachers will be available to answer questions regarding curriculum. Please tell your friends with school-aged children that they are welcome to visit.
• Monday, January 29 – 8:30 A.M. Mass – Grade 8 students are presented with their 8th Grade pins. At 1:30 P.M. Spelling Bee grade 2 vs. grade 3.
• Tuesday, January 30 - 1:30 P.M. “Jeopardy” game show Faculty vs. students.
• Wednesday, January 31 – There will be a Bagel Breakfast for all classes and an Open House from 12:45 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. for prospective parents to visit the school while in session.
• Thursday, February. 1 - 2:00 P.M. Honors Assembly.
• Friday, February 2 – "Exercise for Charity” to benefit the American Cancer Society. There will be a 12:15 P.M. dismissal and a 12:30 Faculty Luncheon.
• Saturday, February 3 – Annual Auction in conjunction with Raphael’s Life House.
