Dear Parents,

As a community of believers, please join us in Church on Tuesday, January 16th at 7:00 PM to pray for our friend and fellow St Michael's School parent, Tammy Giannobile.

Tammy and her husband Rudy, Winfield Park residents, are the parents of Darianna, a St. Michael's School eighth-grader, and Anthony, a junior at St. Peter’s Prep and 2003 SMS graduate. Tammy is also the sister of Tracey Tsikis and aunt of TJ, a first grader at SMS.

For 3½ years, under the care of doctors at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Tammy has been battling cervical cancer.

Many parents have asked what they can do. Fortunately for Tammy and her family, they have a large and supportive extended family and a network of close friends who have organized much appreciated dinners and carpools. Tammy is also grateful for the efforts of her friends and co-workers at Henley School in Clark, where she is a basic skills teacher. At New Jersey Transit, where Rudy works, co-workers have also chipped in.

We too, at St.Michael's School and parish, want to do our part - a Beef Steak Dinner fundraiser will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 7:00 PM in the school gym. Our goal is to build an education fund for Darianna and Anthony. Please mark your calendar. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
